Updated brown dwarfs

Updated brown dwarfs rendering. From hotter to colder. All dwarfs are illuminated with G type companion star. Pink atmosphere is used for planets also, with some small probability (like the green one). ...

Warp bubble improvement

"Fix" for the warp shaders edge artifact. Method suggested by friend of DoctorOfSpace - mirror tiling. Looks better than current "lines" artifact. Will be fixed completely when I implement enviroment map for warp fields. https://youtu.be/DkEhktTk75o...

Planetary system chart

Quickly made feature - planet chart. WIP, still have some bugs. On the screenshot - some binary star system (shot was taken from the side, so the first star looks smaller than the second - this is just because of perspective). One video - chart...

Accretion disks

Better looking stars

Trying to make a better looking stars. This is an adaptation of Chris Laurel's dev Celestia shader. Of course, with the geometry shader based motion blur. Look at full res! View from Solar system at 11m mag limit O.O This shader is awesome. I still can't believe...

Current work

I upgraded the temperature calculation on planets. It now taken into account the internal heat and tidal heating of a nearby objects. So it is possible to find such exotic places like this temperate terra moon orbiting a gas giant that is 93 AU away...

Opposition effect

The opposition effect is a sharp increase of brightness of a moon at near-zero phase angles (at opposition): At the surface it looks like the zero phase glare. Here are 2 screenshots with different function parameters: [bafg id="4891"]...

Black holes update

Improved black hole effect rendering. It is now a fullscreen distortion shader, instead of a billboard with distortion shader. This helped to get rid of pixelization visible if you go close to the black hole. It is also now more physically-accurate - it used right...
